Designed based upon Hunting's proven HDD mud motor technology, the new Rockknife™ transmitter housing can withstand the toughest of conditions. The Rockknife™ uses patent pending mud lube bearings to handle downhole forces and control fluid flow through the bearings. Mud lube bearings mean no more grease and no more seals. Rebuilding the Rockknife is simply replacing the bearings with no specialty tooling needed. Its 6-tab patented LockingLid™, used on Hunting's mud motors and dirt housings, eliminates the need for threaded fasteners.
