Founded in 1958, SCAIP S.p.A. designs and manufactures specialist industrial machinery, with much of its modern range engineered to support oil and gas pipeline construction (built on decades of in-house design and manufacturing expertise). Over time, SCAIP has broadened its portfolio, with machines also used across agriculture, mining, port operations, and the construction of wind and photovoltaic plants—bringing the same rugged, job-site-focused engineering into multiple sectors. Pipe Carriers
With the aim of providing customers with an optimal solution for transporting pipes to be welded along the construction site, SCAIP has developed and produces two different types of pipe carriers.
The pipe carriers can transport a range of pipe sizes, from 6″ to 60″ depending on the project.
Pipe Layers
Since 2007, SCAIP has produced its own range of pipe laying machines, branded SPX. Designed and based on the experience accumulated over the years in this sector and utilizing the latest technologies, SCAIP is able to offer its customers a reliable, efficient product that complies with the latest safety and environmental regulations. Our different models of SPX pipelayers have been used in a wide number of projects in various countries around the world.
SRT Series
Since the early 1990s, SCAIP has produced tracked crawler carrier platforms designed for various work applications and types of terrain. These machines are highly customizable and can be adapted to the different needs of our customers.
SRT Series: includes crawler carriers equipped with rubber tracks, engine power options ranging from 106 to 180 kW, and a load capacity between 3,900 and 12,000 kg.
SFT Series
Since the early 1990s, SCAIP has produced steel tracked crawler carriers designed for various work applications and types of terrain. These machines are highly customizable and can be adapted to the different needs of our customers.
SFT Series: includes crawler carriers equipped with steel tracks, engine power options ranging from 106 to 261 kW, and a payload capacity between 3,900 and 25,000 kg.
