HIWS1 Drill Pipe
The HIWS1 drill pipe is a premium stem manufactured from a special I-145-grade alloy material; heat-treated and forged, machined and inspected to precision specifications to ensure a high-quality drill pipe.
Design Components of the HIWS1 Drill Pipe:
- Steep-tapered, deep-stabbing connection
- Fast-pitch thread for quick make up
- Double-shouldered design for added torque
- Internal and external upset to optimize strength and performance
- Shot blast on connections to adhere thread compound & increase thread life
- Protectors applied to pin and box connections to prevent damage
HXT Drill Pipe
A patented Hunting design that is an exclusive in the HDD industry. The HXT™ Drill Pipe is built to the same standards as the HIWS1 while offering a patented design to increase torque capabilities.
Design components of the HXT™ Drill Pipe:
- Same stabbing and make up capabilities as the HIWS1
- Larger internal bore sizes for increased flow needs
- Patented design for high-torque applications
- Internal and external upset to optimize strength and performance
- Shot blast on connections to adhere thread compound & increase thread life
- Protectors applied to pin and box connections to prevent damage
Hunting Rocknife
Hunting’s New Dual Rod Housing
Designed based upon Hunting’s proven HDD mud motor
technology, the new Rocknife™ transmitter housing can
withstand the toughest of conditions. The Rocknife™ uses
patent pending mud lube bearings to handle downhole forces
and control fluid flow through the bearings. Mud lube bearings
mean no more grease and no more seals. Rebuilding the Rocknife
is simply replacing the bearings with no specialty tooling needed. Its
6-tab patented LockingLid™, used on Hunting’s mud motors and dirt
housings, eliminates the need for threaded fasteners.
Hunting Mud Motors
MUD MOTOR IN THE INDUSTRY
THE LOWEST FLOW, HIGHEST TORQUE
MUD MOTOR IN THE INDUSTRY
The Hunting M-Series Mud Motors incorporate SWB™ (Survey While Boring) technology that significantly improves your
ability to steer by locating the sonde housing into the bearing housing just 3 feet behind the bit. Hunting offers the lowest
flow, highest torque mud motor in the industry.
